Most students and adults find the process of auditions the most difficult part of being an actor. In this one day workshop, our students will work with a team of Be Theatre directors, music directors and choreographers to learn all about auditions from start to finish.  How to enter the room, how to speak to the director, where to look, what to do if you make a mistake or forget lyrics, how to prepare, how to dress.... and any questions you or your student may have that will help prepare students for their next audition. As we say, "Your audition begins the minute you walk in the door."

For most of the workshop we will break into age appropriate groups.

The last hour of the audition workshop, we will have a 'mock audition' where students will go through the process of an audition with no pressure of a cast list or the fears of not knowing what to expect.

The workshop is a courtesy of Be Theatre staff so there is not a charge, but does require a registration.  You can find our registration link here by Monday, August 7 at 10am.   There will be a max number of students allowed, so be sure to register early.
