Shows are 30 minutes each
Tickets available in lobby 1 hour prior to each performance and are limited to 175 per performance.

The show is an interactive experience this year and is geared towards children ages 3-10 years old.
Children will sit on the floor to be closer to the stage area, while parents will have seating available.
We welcome toddlers, but ask that children under the ages of 3 stay with parents to experience the production.

This is our 7th year bringing literature to life at the Tom Green County Library. However, this year we are producing something entirey different! Children will attend a "Read Aloud Experience" for the Literature Alive Project.

We dive deep into Sendak’s illustrations inspiring our show for young children ages 3-10.   The show will be totally interactive! In this 30 minute event, children will experience the story with movement and interaction making it an exciting experience for our young audience. At the end of the show, every child in attendence leaves with a free "Where the Wild Things Are" book and a chance to meet the Max!

As our narrator reads the book aloud, the children become a part of the action using music, movement, art, props and even their own voices.   Join us for this free community event as we partner with Tom Green County Library for our 6th annual weekend where literature comes alive and each child leaves with a free book in hand to inspire their own wildly imaginative journey! Together with TGCL, we've given away over 4500 books in the past 6 years!
